The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, continues from 8 this morning meeting in permanent session with the Advisory Committee of the Municipal Emergency Plan and the entire Government Team, to review the preventive measures implemented since yesterday in the municipality, on the occasion of the heavy rains announced throughout the Region.
So far, according to Citizen Security sources, no significant incident has been recorded in Archena.
All schools, schools, educational centers and public buildings, as well as parks and gardens remain closed, with the exception of City Hall and Local Police, as indicated yesterday as precautionary measures before those possible heavy rains announced by the AEMET.
Likewise, all the staff of the Local Police are prepared for any emergency intervention, according to the same sources.
