The Councilors of Equality of Archena, María José Guillén, and of Social Policy of Ulea, Lucrecia Garrido, attended the presentation this morning, at the Mario Spreáfico de Archena Health Center, of the Volunteer Program, aimed at attending to the people admitted to the General University Hospital JM Morales Meseguer with accompanying needs and / or need for psychosocial support, with special attention to the elderly.
Agreement signed between the Murcian Health Service and the FADE Foundation (Foundation Help, Development and Education) and that the City of Archena wants to expand by integrating in order to get more assistance and coverage still.
The Volunteer Pilot Program has been launched today at the Archena Health Center, aimed at assisting people served in the aforementioned Center, in which it has been detected by the Assistance Team, family or social environment, and previous assessment of the Social Work professional, the need for accompaniment and / or the need for psychosocial support.
The satisfactory fulfillment of the aims and objectives established in the aforementioned Pilot Program will enable its extensive application to the rest of Health Centers dependent on the Health Area Management VI, Vega Media del Segura, progressively and with the same purposes.
