The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure is executing works to improve road safety on the regional road T-533 that links the municipalities of Archena and Alguazas.

The general director of Highways, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, and the mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, visited today this action that consists of the reinforcement of the slope of contention of the highway and the construction of a wall that protects it and that protects the pipeline which is below the road.

Fernández Lladó said that this action, which includes the improvement of the road surface, solves the problems caused by an episode of rains that caused the deterioration of the road.

The work will involve an investment of more than 42,000 euros and will be completed by the end of this week.
