Patricia Fernandez, our mayor and candidate for mayor of Archena by the Popular Party, said today that "wants a living, socially and economically very active municipality."
To do this, the First Municipal Councilor will promote job training for the unemployed with new courses and agreements for internships in companies.
Patricia Fernández has been forceful when she states that: "I want Archena to be a national benchmark in tourism, the environment and new technologies, as a basis for creating employment and attracting more companies."
He also said that he will promote "a training in line with a future growth model focused on employment".
Thus, the mayoral candidate has announced that she will obtain a headquarters in Archena of the Center for Tourism Qualification (CCT) and various courses of entrepreneurship in service and tourism companies, to start future professionals in this booming sector and continue promoting the good image of Archena abroad.
On this matter, Patricia Fernandez has stressed the good results obtained in hotel occupancy and tourist visits in the previous months, which have reached 90% of hotel beds, and an increase of 30% of tourists.
Regarding unemployment, the mayoral candidate said she was satisfied with the low unemployment figures, "since Archena has obtained the best employment results since 2007, currently having an unemployment rate of only 12%, well below the regional and national rate ".
