The City Council of Archena in the year 2018, for its application in the year 2019, again requested the Regional Cadastre Management to apply the maximum limit authorized by the General State Budget for the reduction of the cadastral value in our municipality, being This reduction of 3%.

This decrease in the cadastral value, together with the political decision of the Municipal Government Team to keep the tax rate applicable to this tax for the year 2019 frozen once again (as in the years 2016-2017 and 2018), by means of the approval in The Fiscal Ordinances, being 0.52%, implies a saving for the taxpayers of Archena of around € 100,000.00, distributed among the 13,500 urban properties that Archena has.

This reduction of the cadastral value translates into the following important economic advantages for the archenero taxpayer:

-A reduction of 3% in the Urban IBI for the year 2019 of each and every one of the urban nature units of the municipality;

not just homes, but shops, industries, lots, among others.

- A reduction in the calculation of the Tax on the Increase in the Value of Urban Land (Plus-Valía), since said calculation is made based on the Cadastre Value of the Land.

-A reduction over the minimum equity threshold at the time of requesting any type of aid;

scholarships, social assistance, and a reduction in the Income Tax of those properties listed as second homes.

It should be remembered that already in 2015 the cadastral value of all the urban properties of the municipality of Archena was reduced by 21%, upon request of the Archena City Council to the Regional Cadastre Management (in accordance with the provisions of article 32.2 of the revised text of the Real Estate Cadastre Law).

So in this way, in accordance with the provisions of Article 32.2 of the revised text of the Real Estate Cadastre Law, the City of Archena has requested for the second time to the Regional Office the Cadastre that practices the cadastral values ​​of the real estate urban areas a reducing coefficient of the same
