Patricia Fernández, Mayor of Archena, and the councilors Mario Alcaraz, Mari Carmen Alcolea and Fulgencio García visited the Alcolea Lacal school this morning to see in person the masterpiece of the artisanal crib that each year students and teachers carry out, on this occasion, with recyclable cleaning materials.
For each Christmas, they choose a common material and students, led by their teachers, work it to turn it into material for recycling and in this way they build the figures and other elements for the nativity scene.
Later, they traveled to the Residence of the Third Age 'New Azahar' of Archena, to congratulate the elderly residents and all the professional staff that attends them every day, both Christmas and next year 2019.
For some hours they have shared with all of them some intimate moments full of emotion.
The elderly have also greatly appreciated this visit as mayor and councilors.
