The objectives, according to the mayor, "are to conserve and promote the traditions of our municipality integrating the landscape, architecture and everyday scenes of our history in the Bethlehem."
For this, different techniques and materials have been used in its preparation and special importance has been given to the concept "Space", giving continuity to the work carried out from the center with the users, on the one hand, and on the other, favoring access and enjoyment of the scenes of it to the visiting public.
The Municipal Bethlehem is made up of 500 figures created by associations of women of the municipality.
The dimensions of the Nativity Scene are 22 meters long by 7 meters wide and have been used to recreate natural environments native plants.

As a novelty this year the representative scenes of Egypt and Jerusalem have been significantly remodeled.
