The course 'Women Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economic Sectors and New Market Opportunities' that has been held in Archena, has redirected 18 projects and promoted 14 new entrepreneurial ideas.

'Female Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economic Sectors and New Market Opportunities' is a training program that the San Antonio Catholic University has launched through the International Women, Business and Sports Chair and the Technological Institute of Murcia (ITM), together with the INCYDE Foundation.

The Archena is the second edition and soon a third edition will begin at the Monastery of Los Jerónimos.

The Women, Business and Sports International Chair fosters the entrepreneurial spirit of women through actions such as EmFemenino, a training program in which, for seven weeks, 32 entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial students have promoted their project.

In the case of 18 of them were already developing a business activity and this course has served to redirect, in the case of the remaining 14, have been able to give shape to an idea, which in many cases has become a reality during the realization of the EmFemenino.

The director of this Chair, Mª Dolores Bolarín, who participated in this conference said that "talking about women in Archena is talking about entrepreneurship." The response we have had with this program has been a success, with business ideas that have many possibilities of become a success, always behind the effort and training, that we offer ".

The director of the course, Selene Trotta says that it has been a very special group with a lot of desire to work and with viable ideas and with a future, "we have developed an Individual Strategic Plan for each student, now they are ready to manage and develop it. In the case of women entrepreneurs who have attended, many of them have seen new possibilities for their businesses, we have reoriented them ", is a training program that the Catholic University has launched.

EmFemenino Archena is the second edition of this course that begins next November 5 with its third edition, this time at the Los Jerónimos campus of the UCAM.

According to the executive director of the ITM, César Nicolás, "this project is very exciting, but more exciting is to see how 32 students put their entrepreneurial dreams into action, and we provide them with the tools that the University and the Incyde Foundation puts at their disposal, such as the High Technology Incubator ".
