Some 1,500 people, including school children and elderly people, have participated since Monday in the talks and drills that have been held in Archena within the XIII Fire Prevention Week.
The objective is that the most vulnerable population learn to prevent and behave safely in the event of a fire in the home or in a public place.
The counselor of the Presidency, Pedro Rivera, and the mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, attended the Prevention Party, with which the activities were closed, in which more than 200 Primary students participated.
The Minister underscored the importance of these conferences, organized by the Community through the Fire Fighting Consortium, together with the Mapfre Foundation and the Professional Association of Firemen Technicians, "whose objective is to produce as few fires as possible and , if given, that cause the least damage ".
