The plenary session of the Municipality of Archena approved with the votes in favor of the Municipal People's Group (9) against PSOE (5) and Ganar Archena (2), and the abstention of CCD (1) the General Account of the Fiscal Year 2017 that has generated a surplus of 1,953,711'10 euros.
For the Councilor for Finance, Antonio José Palazón, who defended this point from the ordinary municipal meeting held yesterday afternoon, this surplus has been achieved "thanks to the excellent management that the Government Team is carrying out daily."
He also commented that "the accounts are currently completely healthy and the line of payment commitment to suppliers continues as before".
Palazón also defended the increase that has taken place in the City council of the number of municipal services that are lent, as well as the increase in the quality that those services offer.
The mayor Patricia Fernandez, meanwhile, stressed that "the policies put in place by the Government Team are achieving a large increase in employment in Archena and the improvement and quality of municipal services and infrastructure and all these conditions impact on quality of life that all our archeneros and archeneras already possess ".
Finally the councilor stressed that "this positive surplus will also mean a reduction in taxes and municipal taxes",
