Third day of festivities of La Algaida, in honor of the Virgen del Rosario.
Monday of the gachasmigas, despite the threat of rain, was held as scheduled, but this edition in the courtyards of the Civic Center.
There were gathered festeras clubs and public in general, almost a thousand people who were dedicated to cook that dish so typical of this area.
The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and Councilors, as well as the Pedáneo, Andrés Luna, accompanied the algaideros and algaideras in this festive convivial meal.
In the afternoon, after picking up the Queen of the Holidays Ana, Celia, Cynthia, Lourdes and Nuria began the traditional and popular bicycle race on the main street of the district.
Fifty participants, 22 embroidered ribbons, 2,000 people attending the event, including festive clubs and other young people who attended this event with original costumes.
A party every time you were able to take a ribbon from the wire where they hung, without stopping the bicycle with which they moved to the place, accompanied by the musical archane charanga 'The Current'.
At night, the courtyards of the algaidero civic center were used to house the dance floor where they were present and it was possible to dance to the music of the popular group from Los Happys.
