Several hundreds of people accompanied last night in procession to the Patroness of La Algaida, the Virgen del Rosario, in its usual route through the main streets of the district.
It is one of the most solemn and traditional acts of the festivities that still continue during the day today and tomorrow, with more festive and popular activities such as the race of bicycle ribbons and the fiesta del azulete, as well as migas and the sardine
The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and the Mayor-Pedáneo, Andrés Luna, presided over this cortege, together with the Chief of the Local Police, the judge of Peace and the town crier this year, Francisco López Medina.
Also accompanied in the procession were the Queens of the Holidays and the members of the Festival Commission and the Councilor for Youth and Health, Alicia Medina.
The Employer was carried by the members of the Brotherhood of Anderos of the Virgen del Rosario and toured almost all areas and neighborhoods of the algaidera district.
The procession was closed by the Santa Cecilia de Archena Music Band.
