A total of 30 users of the social center of older people of Archena, dependent of the Murcia Institute of Social Action IMAS, participate in the weekly excursions that, for several years, organizes this center for Cala del Pino in the Manga del Mar Menor (Cartagena).

The general director of People with Disabilities and Seniors, Ana Guijarro, shared with them the beach morning and stressed that "the users of the social centers of the IMAS are an example of active and healthy aging".

In addition, he indicated that "this type of initiative facilitates the opportunity to bring the elderly living in inland villages, such as Archena, to the beach and get to know the coastal areas of the Region."
