The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernandez, presented yesterday night in the vicinity of the building of the Business Incubator the new municipal website, also called www.archena.es.

The councilors of the Government Team and the rest of the Municipal Corporation and more than 150 people representing all sectors of the population and of groups and associations of the municipality have also attended the event.

The new website incorporates the transparency portal and the tourism website, within the ARCHENA SMART project, which the consistory is carrying out in this term.

The application for mobile devices, Android and IOS, was also presented, free and developed to offer a more complete service to citizens.

Another of the platforms presented linked to the new institutional website is "Archena entre Todos".

It is a new app that allows you to carry out all the procedures related to any incident, at the moment the citizen wishes, in the most simple and comfortable way, at your fingertips.

An application that aims to offer a new channel of bidirectional communication more open, transparent and close to the public.

In his speech, the mayor of Archena referred to the presentation of these new portals, as the first of many other actions that will be launched within the project 'Smart City' or 'Smart City' that is developing the City Council with the intention to facilitate the day to day of citizens through the use of new technologies.

Thus, for the mayor, these new webs, "is one more bet that from the city council is working for Archena to improve communication between neighbors and their City Council, and also between associations and companies."

The first mayor explained that it is a new easier and more intuitive web with an attractive structure that houses and unifies all the communication channels of the institution.

It also has notable improvements compared to the old website.

For example, advances in security, loading speed and adaptation for all devices, as well as simultaneous translation in English, French and German for tourism.
