The mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernandez, and the director of Cultural Assets of the Region of Murcia, Juan Antonio Lorca, inaugurated yesterday evening at the Archena Museum the international exhibition 'Dinero-Dinheiro'.
Works that deal with the relationship between art and money.
The exhibition was presented by the curators of the same Antonio García, vice-dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Ilídio Salteiro, professor at the University of Lisbon.
To those who also accompanied the councilors Mari Carmen Alcolea and José Juan González.
More than thirty Portuguese and Spanish artists seek with their exposed works to reflect on the creation and relations between art and money.
In this way, the exhibition confronts several works developed for the occasion of artists from Lisbon, Oporto, Beira, Valencia and Murcia.
In short, the sample is an X-ray with many points of view of how money affects the creators of an era.
The exhibition will remain in Archena until the end of summer.
