The young archenero Francisco José Gómez, head waiter at Restaurant La Gamba Archena Gold has been third in the V National Championships organized by the Journal Maitres La Cazuela, in collaboration with the Spanish Asocición Maitres and floor leaders, that year was held on July 15 in the Banquet Hall Complex In Zalacaín, Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid).
Francisco José Gómez came to the national stage because he finished first, days before the national competition, at the First Regional Competition Professionals Board of Murcia, organized by the Tourist Center of Competence of the Autonomous Community.
The national competition consisted of a total of nine tests: wine tasting, cheese identification, creation of a cocktail, carved chicken, shrimp flambé, cut ham, Irish coffee, table decorations and dessert preparation.
The Gala brought together Pozuelo de Alarcón known faces like Carlos Baute, Jaime Peñafiel, Pastora Soler, Encarnita Caiceo Polo and Miguel, among others, as well as journalists specializing in hotel and restaurant.
