Local Police has launched a campaign Archena Archena called 'safe Christmas shopping' on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
It is a special campaign that takes place during the period when major purchases are made in the city, stretching from Friday December 18, 2015 until January 6, 2016.
The campaign is led by the Department of Safety and Trade, which aims to strengthen security and traffic control in the most commercial areas of the city (Avda. Del Carril, Calle Ramon y Cajal, Calle Juan José Marco, Food Market , Avda. Rosaleda, Avd. Vicente Aleixandre).
The time band will increase the police presence in these areas will be from 10:00 to 14:00 in the morning and from 18:00 to 21:00 in the afternoon.
This is to provide greater security to merchants and customers in the periods when they shop, and avoid crowds and traffic jams.
