The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed recently, the operation 'CAPONI' research aimed at locating and arresting the author of a knife attack at a young, occurred on October 17 in Murcia, which is She has led to the arrest of a person suspected of committing the crime of serious injury.

The Civil Guard found that the incident occurred in the vicinity of a cafeteria of Murcia, where the victim was with his girlfriend.

The researchers collected the information necessary to identify the suspect, a resident of Archena and numerous police records, which was identified as the person who had allegedly attacked the victim with a knife in the abdomen, and moments later was seen leaving the place.

The Civil Guard found that the victim was rushed to the Hospital Morales Meseguer of Murcia where he remained admitted after being operated on for injuries that presented in the abdomen, where part of the blade knife used in the attack was staying.

Citizenship, and to the local police

Members of the Civil Guard, in cooperation with the local police of Murcia, established numerous policing arrangements aimed at locating and arresting the alleged perpetrator of the attack: a man of 45, with a hefty criminal record, who remained missing since the day of the assault, allegedly hidden to avoid arrest.

These tasks were completed thanks to the cooperation of citizens who remained attentive to the police search.

Operation 'CAPONI' has culminated ten days after the attack, when researchers have located and arrested the suspect who is credited with authorship of the alleged crime of serious injuries.

The arrest and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Molina de Segura (Murcia).
