The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, announced that the dossier will start to name the Virgen de la Salud, Patroness of Murcia, 'Perpetua Mayor' of the town of Archena.

Fernandez made this decision public last days during the celebrations of 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the Virgen de la Salud as Patron of the population.

The program of these events, which began last September 5 with the opening speech of the Mayor itself, end on the last Sunday in September, which is when the Virgin returns to its chapel-shrine in the spa.
