This past Saturday, November 16, the image of the Miraculous Medal received the Gold Badge Archena villa for the 70th anniversary of his enthronement in the parish church of San Juan Bautista and in recognition of the work of the Association Miraculous Medal in this county.

The carving of the Virgin is Murcia sculptor D.

Juan Gonzalez Moreno and was commissioned in the war by two village women, Mrs. Rosa Ordonez Sanchez and Ms. Milagros Trigueros.

The image, which has been recently restored, was placed on the high altar of the parish of San Juan Bautista in 1943 and is currently in a chapel.
