Andres Luna, Acting Mayor of Murcia, gave the "official Coat Villa" last Saturday, November 16, the President of the Association of the Miraculous Medal, José Palazón, by the 70th Anniversary since the enthronement of the Our Lady of the Miraculous in the Parish of San Juan Bautista de Archena.
This ceremony was held after a Mass celebrated by the parish priest, Alfonso Alburquerque, also dedicated to the Virgin of the Miraculous.
Since this act was of an institutional nature, were present throughout the municipal government team, and other civil and religious authorities.
There was no lack either the members of this Association.
All this grant program was enlivened by the professional organist, Cayetano Banegas.
The image of La Milagrosa was in charge of two archeneras, Milagros Rosa Trigueros and Ricarda Sanchez Ordonez, very devoted to this title and as a fulfillment of the promise of living out of his imprisonment during the years of the Spanish Civil War.
In 1943 the famous sculptor González Moreno gave them the image and that same year donated to the Parish of San Juan for lacking this picture because they were destroyed during the civil war of the thirties.
The image was initially placed in the chapel of the high altar of the parish until 1987, where he relocated permanently in a side altar.
