The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez Lopez, discovered this morning tribute plaque of commemoration of the signing of the Charter of the City of Murcia, which this year celebrates 550 years, this event was also attended by the Municipal Government Team, the Director General of Seniors, Pérez Abellán and council workers and the general public.
It was the first part of the journey more important than today, the extensive program planned, since the September 11, 1462 was when this event occurred.
The plaque, which will be permanently displayed in the main facade of City Hall, has transcribed the historic anniversaries today.
Later, Mayor, Director General and Councillors opened two exhibitions at the Museum of Archena.
The set, in the first of the rooms, will remain for the twelve months that the celebration of that commemoration and in it you can see municipal documents from the seventeenth, eighteenth and especially the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and a replica of the file arrival Simancas History of the City Charter Township, as a star, along with a lighting of the Town Charter by Celia Carbonell and even a plane ditches Archena, 1907, photographs of early twentieth Archena and of the forties of this century.
They also visited the adjoining room where they exhibited during this year various artists archeneros samples.
On this first occasion, are partners Senior Center Archena IMAS those giving all kinds of antiques home, especially in the first half of the twentieth.
To end the day today, September 11, the day that saw the signing of the Charter of Population, groups of Moors and Christians tonight Archena held a parade to end at the Municipal Auditorium, where will stage the Embassy of the Signing of the Town Charter (main event of this festival during the celebration of the Patterns in May).
