The vice president of the regional government, Juan Bernal, today stressed the importance of Archena Spa as regional tourist attraction, as "alone justifies a visit to the region, being a center that accommodates various types of tourism such as health, the seniors and the Congress as well as being complementary to the sun and beach tourism. "
Bernal today chaired the event to mark the 150th anniversary of the Spa Hotel Balneario de Murcia, accompanied by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, the mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez and general manager of the resort of Murcia, Miguel Lloret .

Bernal said the regional government "is focusing its efforts on marketing and management of tour packages which include spa tourism."

Regional Vice President commended the work done by the director of spa and all workers in this spa resort "that has made this place a historical reference of quality resorts in Spain."
