Archena Museum displays the 'Work in Stone "by sculptor Olga Rodriguez Elche Pomares (15/03/2012)

The Elche Pomares Olga Rodriguez (born in Elche in 1972), holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Murcia.

Presents a clearly focused training in sculpture in natural stone and marble, but with a close relationship with painting, Olga Rodriguez for being representative of the fourth generation of a family of artists Elche "The Rodriguez St. Clement", whose first representative was Francisco Rodriguez Clement (1861 - 1956).

Since 1997 he has made several solo and group exhibitions and has received various awards and scholarships for stays in foreign centers to develop their research.

The sculptor shows a lot of ties with the design and computer aided technical drawing, influenced by the studies and works as a Technical Specialist Buildings and Works.

She has taught in the Schools of Art and Design in Valencia, Alicante and Orihuela, between 2003 and 2005, and the University of Murcia, between 2004 and 2011.

He has developed research work in the group "Art, Public Space and Landscape".
