The veteran cofrade José María Alcolea Marco, known in the municipality as 'El Barcelona', has been named 'Nazarene of the Year' for his intense and long activity and work in favor of the Holy Week processions of Archena.
Belongs to the Brotherhood of the Holy Woman Veronica, Santísimo Christ of the Blood and the Samaritan woman, that also is the Brotherhood that gives image to the poster announcer of the Holy Week 2018, with its stature of the Woman Veronica.

The act, the first of the wide archenero weekly program, was held at the Teatro Villa de Archena before hundreds of brothers and lovers of Holy Week who filled the capacity of the Colosseum.
The stage also served for the delivery of prizes to the winners of the children's drawing contest for Easter.
The act was presented by the archenero announcer, Juan Pío Abenza, and ended with passionate marches by the Cornetas and Tambores Band of the Holy Cross of the Mirrors of Archena.
