The Municipal Government Board, chaired by the Mayor, Patricia Fernandez, who has joined this morning after her maternity leave, has approved, among other things, the project to install the new General Western Sanitation Collection of Archena and Villanueva del Safe.
This project is necessary, according to the report made, due to the lack of bearing capacity of the general collector built in previous years, and above all due to current sealing problems.
This is why this new general channeling of greater evacuation capacity is necessary to assume the contributions it receives especially in times of rain, since a significant part of the water comes from mixtures with rainfall in the surrounding houses.
With this general manifold it is intended to renew and expand the carrying capacity of the existing network.
The works of the installation, whose investment amounts to more than 150,000 euros, will be carried out specifically on the street of Copenhagen Archena, and will be funded by the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
