5 year olds participated in their respective category, youth (under 14) and adult category, where you got to see real professionalism works of painters from many points of the Murcia Region.
The awards were provided by various local companies and the City Council who collaborated with the first prize of adults and went to the painted by Manuel Sanchez Lucas, who received the hand of the Mayor of Murcia box, Patricia Fernandez, the prize maximum of 500 euros.
The award ceremony took place in the afternoon in the Hall of the Cultural Center, which was attended, in addition to the participants and their families, lovers of painting, the jury, composed of professionals and teachers of the art world and culture, and the Mayor of Murcia, accompanied by the Councillor for culture, Mari Carmen Alcolea.
The event was presented by the speaker Juan Pio archenero Abenza and the competition organized by the Municipal Drawing and Painting Workshop, coordinated by Francisco Jose Torrano.
