The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez and Councilwoman Social Policy, Angela Gomez, have officially received this morning to the family of Hugo Daniel Lopez, popularly known as 'the hero of Archena' saved from the flames to a neighbor more prevented from La Algaida, despite the risk and physical damage suffered by himself for providing this help.
The first municipal authority thanked the help you provided at the time the senior who escaped death in flames in the home where she worked caring for him and offered him all the help in his power as mayor and on behalf of City Council president.
Archena hero came to receive, among other awards, the Order of Civil Merit from King Philip.
A real distinction earned by rescuing a person prevented the fire and burned a house in La Algaida in caring for this 94-year old, in Christmas 2014.
